JAQUET Technology Group of Basel, Switzerland has announced that it will be launching its new Green Line range of electromagnetic and Hall effect speed sensors - an economic standard speed sensor line.

The new range integrates parts from the company’s volume automotive division into sealed industrial stainless steel housings to provide economic speed measurement solutions for factory automation and other similar applications. 11 basic models will initially be available, in either 12mm O.D. or 5/8" UNF sizes and covering a frequency range equivalent to true zero speed right up to 50kHz. True zero speed sensors may also be used for position sensing e.g. end of actuator travel.

For applications where speed and direction need to be sensed, the Y12AD model includes logic that detects the rotational direction so as to deliver a High / Low output signal indicating direction together with the speed pulse train.
